What does a Representative do?
As
a Representative on the HiCap Parents Council, you would be expected to
act as a liaison between the NSD Hicap staff and the students and
families you serve. Responsibilities include:
- Serving as a resource to the families in your school community and helping to communicate info from the Council
- Being involved in your school community to report concerns and successes back to the HiCap Council
- Attendance at most of the monthly HiCap Council meetings usually held on Tuesdays from 10 am-12 pm is preferred. We also have tasks, projects, and initiatives that move Council work forward that can be done on your own schedule.
